To maintain environmental quality and public health and safety, the Lake St. Clair Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area and various local governments controls invasive plants in several locations around Macomb and St. Clair counties.
For more information on the risks and benefits of using chemical applications and where treatments will take place, see below. Maps highlighting 2022 treatment locations and treatment notices for conducting applications will be added, when information becomes available.
Macomb County Road Right-of-Way Treatments
Areas for treatment include sections of Macomb County primary and local roads in Chesterfield, Clinton, Harrison, Lenox, Ray, Richmond, Shelby and Washington Townships and the City of Sterling Heights.Â
